The Nativity Story The Nativity Story is out in theatres for the 2006 Christmas season. This Holy story of the birth of Jesus has hit the big screen with great reviews. Playing the role of Mary is Keisha Castle-Hughes from the movie Whale Rider, and Oscar Isaac (Guerrilla) as Joseph. Also, starring in the role of Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist, is Academy Award Nominee Shohreh Aghdashloo. This amazing cast brings to life this story on screen like you have never seen before.

The Cinematography and music helps provide support in making this movie an instant holiday classic, and a great ministry tool to take freinds and family to experience.  Take advantage of a great ministry opportunity this season.  Orangewood Church is providing a private screening of The Nativity Story on December 17, with discount prices available.  For more information, Contact Orangewood by calling 602-995-0299, or by e-mailing them at generalinfo@aplaceofhope.org.

Enjoy the Christmas season this year by seeing the Nativity Story, and help others you know see the promise of God’s Salvation by inviting them this season.  It is truly the best gift you could ever give someone.

Till Next time,

Chris Haro

Well, It seems like there has been a lot going on as of late at Orangewood. No matter how you look at it, things are movin’ and Shakin’ and so much is in store for our church. This past Sunday, we had a Christmas program that I thought was one of the greatest programs we have ever done! I feel so blessed to be a part of it, and to use my gifts truly was a blessing as well. The music was spectacular, and Jeff needs to be commended for his ability to bring people to a place of celebration and worship. He truly is a great gift to the church.

Recently, there have been some difficult decisions made by the church, and with some of these decisions including staff cuts, people are begining to ask questions. I say good. It is time that we all take part of what is going on. I do hope though that through the questions, concerns, disagreements, and other feelings that are coming up, we all take a Godly approach to ask, but also to respect, honor and trust in the Lord. With all of us on our knees and asking for wisdom, revelation and for The Lord’s will every situation, I know that Jesus will be victorious and will guide us along.

What do you think? Give me your thoughts.

Until next time,

Chris Haro
